Over an eight-year span, the Delta Lake Inn situated in Rome sat quietly overlooking the beautiful cliffs of the Palisades and the seasonally changing waters of Delta Lake, waiting for a breath of new life. In January of 2009, a curious local restaurateur snapped a photo of the Inn and shared it with a few friends and family. This was the beginning of the rebirth of the Delta Lake Inn. Over the course of the winter and early spring, four life-long friends purchased the Inn and feverishly began renovating its tired walls, overgrown landscaping and outdated interior.
